Trump Takes Shots At ‘Radical Left Lunatics’ In Surly Christmas Day Message

President-elect Donald Trump began his Christmas morning with a series of sharp remarks aimed at political rivals and foreign leaders on his platform, Truth Social.

Trump, 78, opened by accusing Chinese forces of “illegally” operating in the Panama Canal, referencing the 38,000 lives lost during its construction over a century ago. He criticized the U.S. for funding canal repairs without gaining influence in its operations.

Trump then mocked Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, calling him “Governor Trudeau,” while advocating for Canada to join the U.S. as its 51st state, promising lower taxes, economic growth, and military protection. He reiterated his desire to acquire Greenland from Denmark, emphasizing its importance for national security.

In another post, Trump sarcastically wished a “Merry Christmas” to the “radical Left Lunatics,” accusing them of obstructing courts, elections, and targeting him unfairly.

Trump also criticized President Joe Biden’s commutation of 37 federal death row inmates' sentences to life imprisonment. He called Biden’s actions reckless, asserting the inmates were among the most violent criminals, and concluded with a pointed refusal to wish them a Merry Christmas, instead writing, “GO TO HELL!”

Concluding his posts, Trump declared the U.S. election a triumph, promised brighter days ahead, and affirmed his commitment to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” signing off with “MERRY CHRISTMAS!”
