Don Lemon stands by rant on Trump supporters after online backlash: 'Too f---ing bad'

Former CNN host Don Lemon stood firm on his controversial remarks calling some Trump supporters "dumb f---ing idiots," addressing critics directly on his YouTube show.

During Tuesday’s broadcast, Lemon doubled down, responding to backlash from a recent expletive-filled rant. He clarified that his comments targeted "MAGA-brained people" who defend Trump’s actions unconditionally, not all Trump supporters.

"Everyone gets so butthurt," Lemon said. "If you don’t like what I said, too f---ing bad. I stand by my words." He accused critics of hypocrisy, noting that Trump often uses derogatory language but receives less scrutiny from his supporters.

"You hold me, a journalist, to a higher standard than the man in the Oval Office," he argued. "Trump insults everyone—calling Black women, athletes, and even me dumb—yet you defend him while attacking me."

Lemon's initial video included harsh criticism of Trump loyalists, whom he described as having a "stupid MAGA brain." He mocked their blind allegiance and claimed they deserved the consequences of their support.

"You're so f---ing stupid, and you don’t even realize it. You've been co-opted by a cult," Lemon said in his earlier rant. "How dumb are you?"

Despite the backlash, Lemon made it clear he wouldn’t apologize, saying, "This is the truth, and if you don’t like it, that’s on you."
